Re-heat your hot water

The Re-heat your hot water toggle is available in all modes and is located in the Hot water settings section of the Homely app. When enabled, this feature allows your heat pump to reheat your hot water tank at any point during your scheduled hot water period if the tank temperature drops below a set level. This temperature threshold is usually around 5–10 °C below the target temperature and is configured by your installer on your heat pump controller. This setting does not take into account to cost of electricity during the heating. It’s ideal for users who want their hot water topped up during the schedule to ensure a full tank is always available.

How to Activate Re-heat your hot water

1. Open the Homely app.

2. Go to the Hot Water tab.

3. Tap the Hot water settings button.

4. Toggle on ‘Re-heat your hot water’.

   

Please note: your heat pump cannot provide both internal heating and hot water simultaneously.
