Homely Commissioning

 

Configure settings:

  • Select hot water tank size, heat emitter types, and immersion configuration.

  • Commission the heat pump.

 

Complete guidance in the Homely Installer App.

  • Connect the Hub to WiFi.
  • Connect the Hub to the Node and place the Node within the recommended guidelines.
  • Run a system check to confirm all functions are connected and signals are within tolerance.

 

Verify Hub data:

  • Open the menu for the newly installed Hub.

  • Confirm last reading is up to date.

  • Ensure WiFi signal is OK or better.

 

Check Node data:

  • Confirm last reading is up to date.

  • Battery level must be medium or above (replace if needed).

  • Signal strength must be good or better.

 

Check Modbus data:

  • Ensure Modbus time is up to date.

  • Confirm values/temperatures are being read (not showing 0°c).

 

Test heat pump:

  • Open the Heat pump controls section of the app.

    • Turn on the heating toggle and verify operation.

    • Turn on the hot water toggle and verify operation.

 

Handover to resident:

  • Guide the resident to download the Homely App and register for Homely
  • The resident will get an email straight away that tells them how to configure their heating and hot water
  • The resident will then get an email after a few days to give them additional guidance on other ways to schedule their heating and hot water to ensure they received the most out of their system
