If your Samsung heat pump is not responding as expected, it may be due to the MIMB-19N board (a Modbus adaptor used for communication with third-party systems like Homely) freezing or needing a restart.
Homely needs this board to function correctly. If it becomes unresponsive or ‘freezes’, a quick restart usually gets things working again. Just follow the steps below.
How to Reset Your MIMB-19N Board
1. Turn off the outdoor unit
Locate the power switch on your Samsung heat pump’s outdoor unit. Use this switch to turn it off.
2. Wait for 2 minutes
Leave the unit powered off for approximately two minutes. This allows the system to fully shut down and restart.
3. Turn the outdoor unit back on
After two minutes, switch the outdoor unit back on. The MIMB-19N board will now restart.
Once the unit is powered back up, the MIMB-19N board should be reset and ready to go.
