How do I turn my heating off, but still keep hot water?

You can use the Homely app to disable your heating at any time.

When this setting is on, your heating won't turn on unless the temperature of your home drops below 12°C. This stops your heat pump from actively heating your home but still protects your pipes from any unexpected cold snaps.

How it works

When your heating is disabled, Homely will tell your heat pump not to heat your property while continuing to provide hot water at the times you've set.

How to disable your heating

1. Go to the Heating screen in the Homely app.

2. Tap Heating Settings (underneath your heating schedule)

3. Locate the toggle labelled “Disable heating”.

    

4. Switch this toggle ON (toggle will turn orange) to turn off your heating and provide hot water only.

Anytime you'd like to turn your heating back on, just switch Disable heating OFF. The toggle will turn grey and your heat pump will use the heating schedule you set previously.
