How do I use Holiday mode?

Homely’s Holiday mode helps you save on heating costs while you’re away, making sure your home is warm and comfortable when you get back.

Switching on Holiday mode turns off your hot water while you're away, while making sure it's ready for you on the day you've said you'll return home.

Your heating will drop to a minimum temperature of your choosing while you’re away, but will begin preheating before you return.

For heating, this can start up to two days before you arrive, while for hot water this will be the day prior to your return.

Activating Holiday mode

To activate Holiday mode:

1. Open the Homely app.

2. Navigate to the home screen.

3. Switch on Holiday mode (the toggle will turn orange).

   

4. A pop-up window will appear, this lets you:

   1. Set the start and end dates of your holiday.

   2. Specify the minimum temperature for your home while you're away.

       

      

       

5. Once the end date is reached, your heating and hot water will automatically return to your normal schedule.

Holiday mode makes sure your home is energy-efficient while you’re away and a comfortable temperature to welcome you home.
