      Homely Holiday Mode

      Homely’s Holiday Mode helps you save on heating costs while you’re away, ensuring your home is warm and comfortable upon your return. Activating Holiday Mode disables your hot water for the duration of your absence but ensures it is ready for use on your specified return date. Your heating will drop to a minimum temperature of your choosing while you’re away, but will begin preheating in anticipation of your return. For room heating, preheating can start up to two days before you arrive, while hot water preheats the day prior to your return.

      Activating Holiday Mode

      To activate Holiday Mode:

      1. Open the Homely App.

      2. Navigate to the Home Screen.

      3. Toggle on Holiday Mode.Holiday Mode

      4. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to:

        1. Set the start and end dates of your holiday.

        2. Specify the minimum temperature for your home during your absence.Screenshot_20250103-144516

      5. Once the end date is reached, your heating and hot water will automatically return to your normal schedule.

      Holiday Mode ensures your home is energy-efficient while you’re away and ready for your comfort when you return.
