Wi-Fi / Internet not connecting

If your Wi-Fi light is amber or yellow, follow these steps to reconnect:

 

  1. Restart the Hub:

    • Unplug the power cable from the Homely Hub.

    • Wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

    • Allow up to 60 seconds for the Hub to power up (all lights will turn white during startup).Unplug Hub

  2. Check the Wi-Fi Light:

    • If the light turns green, the Hub is successfully connected.

    • If the issue persists, continue with these steps to try reconnecting.

         

        How to Enable Location Permissions for the Homely App

        If your location permissions are not enabled for the Homely app, you won’t be able to connect to Wi-Fi. Follow these steps to ensure location permissions are properly set:

        For Android:

        1. Long-press the Homely app icon on your home screen.

        2. Select App Info from the menu.

        3. Navigate to App Permissions.

        4. Ensure that Location is enabled.

        If the issue persists, verify that location services are enabled on your device:

        • Swipe down from the top of your home screen to access the quick settings menu.

        • Confirm that Location is turned on.

        For iOS:

        1. Open your Settings app.

        2. Scroll down and select the Homely app.

        3. Check that Local Network access is enabled for Homely.

        Following these steps should resolve any connection issues caused by location permissions.
