The Homely Temperature Node wirelessly communicates key information, such as room temperature and humidity, to the Homely Hub. The Temperature Node should be placed in a heated room that the homeowner uses most frequently. The Node should be placed away from direct sunlight, air flow, for example a frequently opened window, and any device that can generate heat, such as an oven or a large television.

Additionally, the Node should be placed within a 16-meter radius of the Homely Hub and out of the reach of children.
As with any wireless connection, the thickness of internal walls and the presence of large, heavy items of furniture can hamper connectivity. If you think that could be an issue then consider moving the Homely Temperature Node to an alternative place within the home.
