Homely's Wi-Fi Requirements

Homely operates exclusively on the 2.4 GHz WiFi band and does not support 5 GHz connections. If your customer’s router is configured for 5 GHz only, they will need to contact their broadband provider to split their WiFi bands, ensuring both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are available.

 

Unsupported Routers

Some routers are incompatible with Homely and will not be recognized by the system. If your customer is using one of the routers listed below, they may need to consider using a different router to connect Homely successfully:

  • Vodafone Ultera WiFi 6e

  • Amazon eero 6+
